Day 3 - Coast to Sunset Bay State Beach, OR

A few photos of Cape Lookout before we depart.

All along the coast you see these signs

Wow! Looks like a dangerous place to be

Finally as we are leaving Cape Lookout Johnnie tells me there was a bear sighting in camp!

Then I find out the sighting was last April! Whew!

On to Lincoln City where our neighbor's uncle owns a restaurant. We found the restaurant but unfortunately it was too early. Another next time!

Stopped at the Bi Mart to buy some supplies.

Kind of like a Wal Mart but smaller

Love this cute electric car!
A picnic stop for lunch at Golden Anniversary Park.

Beautiful coast line
Not a selfie!

We stopped at Yaquina Lighthouse but it was not open for tours of the actual lighthouse itself.  Next stop is the Sea Lion Cave. Another disappointment at the Cave as all the sea lions are out feeding to fatten up for the winter and none are in the cave. The good news is they have a nice gift shops there and Johnnie finds the metal sculptures he has looked for!

Johnnie bought three salmon - large, medium and small that will hang above our archway in the den

Coast view from Sea Lion Cave promontory
On to Sunset Bay State Park for the night. Another wonderful day. We feel so blessed!
