We stop for breakfast at the Log Cabin and then head north to the Redwoods for the day.

This is an incredibly rough, narrow road through the forest. Trees take priority, so at times you wind around several in a row like an obstacle course. RVs and big trucks are not recommended.

| On the Simpson-Reed trail, Jenny and Johnnie |
For those who want to hike, there are plenty of trails with varying degrees of difficulty and length.
Johnnie found his dream RV in the forest today. He was shy to stop and ask the owner for a tour of it, but we got a few photos on the sly. I can just see us in this!

After the rainforest we stop at CC's Diner in Crescent City then I get my hair done at Shear Joy, also in Crescent City. Boy, that felt good! Every trip should include regular hair appointments! And the best part, Tory, the stylist who did my hair, is a Christian! In fact she is a Women's ministry leader at her church, Hope Ministries in Crescent City and we had a wonderful time of sharing as well as getting me back to looking respectable. God is good and gives us these divine appointments for our encouragement and pleasure.
We get back to the camper and could smell the wonderful pot roast we put in the crock pot this morning. That was nice after a day of sightseeing. Our new 2.5 qt. crock pot works great in the camper and is the perfect size for two people.
What a nice day we have had! Once again I thank you Lord for blessing us so richly!
